I applied for a business visa in Italy and it was rejected

And now I want to apply again , so is it better to apply for tourism visa in Italy again or to try another embassy like France?

If you want to go to Italy, you apply to Italy. If you want to visit for business, apply for a business visa.

Don't try to get around visa requirements, or you could find you have a lifetime ban.

Once you have been rejected your name is inserted on a database shared to Shengen members and maybe you get a stamp on your passport as visa rejected.

The business visa I applied for before it was for business but it was rejected

Now I want to go for tourism but I don’t want to get rejected again from the same embassy

That’s why I think I should apply from France
