do hotels drop their prices if their not full?

hi lm hesding to santa ponsa on the 18th of sep.

lm planing on staying in the jardin del mar.

lm presuming that the hotel wont be full and lm wondering is it better to wait till closer the time or is it all the 1 whether l book now or not ?

Hotels do sometimes have special offers, but cannot be guaranteed. The middle of September is still almost high season.

most hotel pre sell there beds to tour companies for the season .so it would be the tour operators that drop the price the 1s that dont and keep some for walk in booking i dont believe they let you have them cheap just because there empty the 1s im involved with have a set price and stick to it
