Transport advice

I am travelling in a group of 4 adults and 6 children, including 2 infants. We arrive at Malaga airport midday and need to get to Buenos Noches which is past Estapona. Is a shuttle the best or hire car? We’ll probably need 2 cars if we do hire. Which are the best companies whichever we choose?

Wow, that's one big party.

You could hire a minibus.

Use Helle Hollis. Most of the others are crooks.

Transfers ..........try skyscannerairport transfers

It's quite a long way from the airport so it will be expensive.

Thanks We’re going to get a shuttle with Cheaptaxi Malaga and then hire a car in Estapona the next day.

Another question about Buenos Noches. Is it possible to catch a bus from there to Estapona ? Also we are staying the beach side of the A7. Are there crossing places at all for pedestrians ?

Hi

No Pedestrian crossings on the A7/N340 Highway West of Estepona Town, only Roundabouts. There are overhead Pedestrian Bridges however and there is one by the Repsol Garage in Buenos Noches. Transport in Winter is By Avanza/Portillo Buses from La Linea or Algeciras to Estepona every two hours or thereabouts. However there is a Ricardo L3 MidiBus Service only in July & August from Bermuda Beach to Estepona(next Roundabout from the Repsol Garage) every 30 Mins from 9am to 3pm and 5pm to 7:30pm

Hope this helps

Hullo there Joyce.

No, there is at present no Etepona bus service from Buenas Noches to Estepona. However the M240 Estepona to La Linea bus does stop there.

Going to Estepona, the bus stop is by the petrol station. On the way back it is by the restaurant.

However it is not very convenient, being roughly every 2 hours. And the time it gets there depends on how many people got on - and therefore delayed the bus by buying tickets - in the previous 30 miles.

And you should not try to cross the main road. There is a concrete barrier in the middle anyway. There is an overpass by the petrol station.

To be honest, Buenas Noches is not very suitable without a car.

Best wishes
