Lederhosen Rentals

Does anyone know of a specific place to recommend for renting a lederhosen during Oktoberfest? We would like to wear Lederhosen but don't want to purchase one as this will be the only time I'd wear it. And how much would it cost per day?

Thanks!

1. Re: Lederhosen Rentals

Hello,

please dont dress up. The Lederhose is a traditional outfit and not a costume (although many people think so). You would also have to rent a shirt and shoes/socks to complete your outfit.

So just go there in your casual cloths and have fun.

P.S. Didnt chekc it but have a look here http://www.lederhosenverleih.de/

Believe me, you will feel more comfortable in your blue jeans than in rented Lederhosen.

May visitors come in Lederhose, and it looks great! So a very good idea to do this, but I think you're better of buying a pair. Unless you only need them 1 day.

@ JacobP81: Have you found a place to rent a lederhosen. Would need about 15 pairs for a stag weekend in May?

Just buy a cheap set at C&A... The traditional gear looks good when its tailored to suit the individual... having a pair of 'rentals' will make you look cheap and tacky.... maybe thats the look youre after? dont forget then the Old Spice or Brut... lots of it...

Yeah, KIR, cheap and tacky - I'm sure that is what Jacob is looking for. It will give you something to make fun of in future posts.

Keep in mind that in May you won't see herds of people in Lederhosen like during the Oktoberfest.

Unless you happen to visit a beerfest somewhere?

Renting it for 60 euros seems like a high prices. I bought a couple of pretty good ones for 135,- euro last year, and you can get cheaper ones online as well. Even for 60 euros., they will look a bit cheap but you will have a nice souvenir.
