Mannheim vs Speyer technical museum

Has anyone been to both the Mannheim and the Speyer technical museums?

we have time to see one of these and wondered which to choose as they both look great.

I'm leaning toward Mannheim as it looks a bit bigger.

we love transportation museums: cars, trains, plains, cycles. We are more towards the art of the machine than the science.

any one whose been to both have a preference and why?

thanks

-> Speyer (or Sinsheim)

after having been to both mannheim and speyer, speyer blows mannheim out of the water.

mannheim has only a few vehicles (8 i think it was), no planes, no boats. Mannheim does have several technical floors with a lot of cool hands on exhibits. but if you are looking for transportation related stuff like trains, planes and automobiles then Speyer or Sinsheim is the ticket.

Sinsheim is the museum with the two SST planes, the Concord and the Russian one, the Tupolev- .http://sinsheim.technik-museum.de/en/ .
