Local buses in Antibes?

Hi all, looking for info regarding the different bus routes running in and around Antibes/JLP, not the 200´s etc.

Any input much appreciated, f.i. links to websites.

Thanks in advance.

A weekly ticket for €10 is the way to go if you need local buses on a daily basis.

Can I ask please, where do we purchase the weekly ticket?

Is it bought in the bus itself?

We are staying in Biot and plan on using the buses frequently to visit Antibes,is this pass valid On this route?

Thanks for any help :)

You cannot buy them on a bus, they must be bought at a ticket office. Ed will tell you if it serves your route - he is the de facto Antibes expert

OffalyRover flatters me....I am but an innocent bystander.

The Envibus weekly passes and other similar tickets are sold at a number of places in addition to the 2 Antibes bus stations. In Biot :

Espace commercial Saint-Philippe

200 av. de Roumanille

06410 BIOT (Templiers)

Tel : 04 92 90 49 10

In addition while single tickets cost 1.50 euro on the bus they can be bought for 1 euro at the bus station machines.

BTW always validate your ticket whenever you get on even with a weekly pass.

We stay in Juan Les Pins every year and I have to go to Antibes to get my weekly ticket. Last year I foud to my surprise that the lady in the ticket office spoke no English - when I asked her she said "rien du tout!" This was probably unusual and I'd imagne most do speak English.

You are right that Juan les Pins does not seem to have its own ticket agency, but some of the more " remote" places do, usually in the local Mairie. You can also buy the pass online according to the website.

Juan Les Pins should have a ticket office, especially during the tourist season.
