Three night stopover en route

Morning All

We are driving from the UK to the Loire Valley at the end of this month. My initial idea had been to camp in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe for three nights as a stopover and bit of variety en route down but we've decided against packing all the camping stuff for three nights and to look at hotels instead.

There are good options in Beaumont-sur-Sarthe and a poorly reviewed option in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe. Does anyone have experiences of stopping in any of these communes and would you recommend one over another?

Many thanks

A.

Hi

Another idea

Ste Suzanne It's little, but very pleasant, with the possibility to visit Saulges caves. (prehistoric paints).

If you have children, in Sillé le Guillaume, there is a lake with a beach.

Thank you Bernard. After more reflection, we have plumped for Le Mans.
