Heading to Bastia soon and looking to hire a dinghy for a few hours sailing? are there any beach clubs or schools that do this? Also looking to hire a mountain bike for the week? Any hire shops?
Are please and thank you used where you live?
They are thank you, but only when appropriate. Please don't be silly.
Please be polite.
You don't think it is "appropropiate' to say pleas and thank you when you ask for people's help?Edited: 12 May 2018, 14:13
Yep and all of us here ignore whoever poster #3 is.
She has recommended a link where the average YACHT (not dinghy) is 12 to 30 metres in length.
These yachts will have dinghys on them....seriously doubt that they will be for rent.
The yachts will rent for thousands to tens of thousands of euros a dayEdited: 12 May 2018, 16:17
‘Please be polite’ ... my sides are aching, fantastic irony. That’s made my day. Thanks D the P.
Sorry Rob if my link is no good, I confess I only really posted to counteract the previous post. Note, he hasn’t offered any advice at all, just the usual put down. Sad little troll.Edited: 12 May 2018, 17:11
You may be better taking a look over to St Florent. It's not a great distance from Bastia, and is certainly better geared up toward pleasure sailing. The coastline is much more attractive in that area, remembering that Bastia in one of Corscia's main commercial ferry terminals.
Also, do remember to say please and thank you, even when the post is obnoxious and of absolutely no use whatsoever.
"Sad little troll"
No....quite happy actually!
Your uninformed posts are hilarious.
The OP asked about renting a dinghy.
A 3 to 6 metre vessel (typically without propulsion) that might rent for a couple of hundred euros for an afternoon.
YOUR suggestion was a thousands or tens of thousands of euros a day yacht that requires multiple levels of certification to operate.
Poster #7's information is essentially useless as well....dinghy's don't do "coastal sailing"....they don't have engines...heads....sleeping accommodations.
They are used to "bob round" in a bay.Edited: 12 May 2018, 18:44
Yes I suppose my post was uninformed and i ‘fessed up to that. Whereas your advice is... wait.. erm ...oh that’s right, completely non existent. Just a barrage of insults.
Altogether now... ooh dat man ...Edited: 12 May 2018, 19:15
