Gresham or Buswells?

Based on the helpful feedback I received on here, I narrowed my choice of hotels to the Gresham or Buswells. I'd like to stay in a comfortable hotel that is within walking distance of major attractions, pubs, etc. The price of the two is almost the same. Which is a better choice?

I think Buswells has more character. It is very close to the National Archeological Museum, the National Gallery, Trinity College and the Grafton Street/ St Stephen's Green area

The Gresham is by far the superior of the two. Buswells is a nice hotel in a lovely area.

Buswells is in a much nicer area. It is a smaller hotel. In less than 20 footsteps you are in the Archaeolgical Museum.

Definitely Buswells! Right across from our government buildings (very beautiful) and is a short walk from Grafton Street, Dublins centre!

Enjoy Dublin,

We stayed at Buswells last June and loved it. It's very traditional, our room was lovely, and the location can't be beat. We walked to Grafton Street, Trinity College, even to Kilmainham and the Guinness Storehouse...although that was a pretty long walk. Enjoy your visit!

Thanks for all of the input. I returned from Ireland last week. Buswells was an excellent choice--great location, charming atmosphere, and reasonably priced.
