I will have free day, in Glasgow, and wonder if there is a tour company that offers a day trip to Roslyn Chapel?

Have search on the forums as it is often asked how to get there. It isnt difficult to get to by public transport if that is an option.

I don't think you will find a tour from Glasgow.

It would be very easy to take a train to Edinburgh and a bus down to Rosslyn

But not if you want to do Inveraray on the same day ;-)

Hi,

Why not catch a train from Glasgow Queen Street Station to Edinburgh then a local 'bus to Roslin village ?

https:/…

Train and scenic route can take less than an hour.

It's not an expedition.

The entry fee to the chapel includes a tour guide anyway.

We were very impressed.

Liked the cat if you visit....

Hi the chapel is very small but stunning inside. No photo allowed. The local bus takes a while and longer if it's a busy day. As the chapel is so small it fills up real quick. If visiting take a stroll down the glen behibg the chapel. I am not sure if you are a Da Vinci fan and that is why you wish to go but linlithgow palace is beautiful and on the train route.
