We had a lovely time wandering round the stalls an listening to the music.
Rather than drive we took the train. As we are old it didn't cost much as we have the centre card which gave us free travel most of the way.
It did take a lot longer but the journey was enjoyable. The staff at Foregate station did a good job under a lot of pressure due to the crowds. Well done lads.
We also had a quick look round the magnificent Cathederal. We liked the medieval buildings. Pity more weren't saved when they redeveloped.
We can get to Worcester in about 40 mins by car and wondered next year if there is a central car park we could use.
Btw. The last time we came to Worcester a few years ago we visited the The Commandery.
We had taken the kids there many years ago when they were little. They loved it. It was packed with artefacts and very informative. We thought we'd have another look. Oh dear. The rooms were bare. You listened to a tape and were ment to use you imagination to transport your self back to the olden days. We thought it was terrible. Who's bright idea was that?
