Looking for a place that does a traditional champagne breakfast / brunch somewhere in or around Norwich
what is a traditional champagne breakfast please? It's not something I am familiar with, where is it traditional?
I'm curious- 'traditional' champagne breakfast? Not a tradition I've ever come across, But you can get beer with breakfast at Wetherspoons
Hilton in Brighton does a champagne breakfast/ Sunday brunch
for those who is not familiar with the concept, it is served at some luxury hotels, and consists of a breakfast/brunch buffet served with champagne or sparkling wine on Sundays.
Not that traditional then. I'm sure at a lot of hotels you could get champagne with your breakfast if asked, maybe even Wetherspoons would give you a glass of cava with your fry up if you asked for a cheaper version?
I don't know the answer for sure, and we are not over run with 5* hotels, but the people most likely to be able to deliver a champagne breakfast in style are either
St Giles Hotel
Dunston Hall hotel
Anywhere which serves traditional English breakfast, and has Champagne on the wine list should be able to arrange it for you, providing their licensed hours cover the breakfast time.
My suggestion is -
They do breakfast from 10am, and have Champagne by the bottle or Prosseco by the glass. A phone call or email should confirm whether it is possible to combine the two.
Woorrr, a glass of champers wiv yer fry-up! Now that's what I call decadent ;-)Edited: 06 April 2014, 21:47
As the OP is visiting Norwich, I expect she is referring to the traditional champagne breakfast once popular among poor East Anglian farming folk:-)Edited: 06 April 2014, 22:44
Another vote for the assembly house! they do it.
