A black cab from Heathrow to the W Hotel in Leicester Square could cost from £60 - 75, depending on time of day and day of the week you plan to travel.

A pre booked car service might cost £40 - 45 for the same journey. Maximum cash fare on the Underground - a straight shot with no change of train needed - will cost at most £5.30 per person.

Do you have any suggested companies for pre-booked cars? Thank you in advance.

I use:

http://www.expressways.co.uk/

But there are loads of other companies mentioned here, just use the search function for "transfers" and search by date and you'll get all the most recent discussions.

to be getting on with, but I would get the tube to Piccadilly Circus from where the W is 3 minutes at most:

Go to Piccadilly Circus (Piccadilly line from any terminal). Take Exit 4, Shaftesbury Avenue/Trocadero. Exit via the steps with Shaftesbury Ave sign over them (i.e. don't go through the Trocadero). Walk straight ahead toward the theatre with Mamma Mia playing (can't miss it, big signs). At the M+M store turn left into Wardour Street, W hotel entrance is on the right. Should take max 2-3 minutes. Access from Leicester Square is a pain due to the reconstruction work there.
