No - double yellow lines and at best 2 hours free parking. I'd look to park at a station en route and train to Exeter. Otherwise you drop one person off with the luggage, park at least a mile away and walk/taxi back. I dont think any of the long stay car parks allow overnight parking.
Or keep driving for a further 20 minutes and take same train from Tiverton Parkway. About 500 yards or so away there are a few free spots along the approach lane. No guarantees there is space though. Or as Buzzard suggests, parking at Newton Abbott may be cheaper.
All that said, if you're off to London for 4 days, I'd think you'll be spending a fair bit on the trip. Would adding £20 or so for 4 nights parking be that big a sacrifice when looked at in that bigger picture? :-)
try parkonmydrive and parkatmyhouse
Depends on your circumstances....but we live in the sticks in Cornwall too, we get a lift... from family members and we pay the petrol, to either Exeter rail station (when travelling by train) and the same when flying from Exeter Airport. We also return the favour when they wish to travel.
But of course this might not be an option for you....
