Hi,
Is there a weekly travel pass that a tourist can avail of for travel between maidenhead and london? Is it cheaper if you travel during non peak hours
Maidenhead-London
Off-Peak Day Return ÂŁ9.50
Anytime Day Return ÂŁ17.30
7 Days Season Ticket ÂŁ59.00
or ÂŁ74.90 including a London Zones 1-6 Travelcard
A weekly travel pass (weekly season ticket in UK) always assumes peak hour travel as it's mainly used by commuters. As a general rule if you wish to travel at peak hours on 4 or more days during the week (Monday thru Friday) a weekly season ticket is usually cheaper. If, however, you are travelling only after the morning peak hour period or at weekends then day returns (combining travelcard for London travel) will be better value. Day tickets can be bought at ticket machines thus no need to queue at booking office.
Note that a passport size photo is required if you plan to buy a weekly season ticket.
does this apply to tourists as well?
There are no particular privileges or restrictions on being a 'tourist' on the British railway system.
