Your best bet for Ceilidh information is to visit any of the Visitor Information Centres in Cape Breton & ask about scheduled Ceilidhs on July 2nd. The VICs are a wealth of information re what to do/see/experience when in Nova Scotia.

The nights have been rather "fixed" for years .

Saturday night is the dance/ceilidh in West Mabou

and then all of saturday afternoon at the Doryman in Cheticamp.

Wednesday night is the Normaway Barn night .

Every night at the Red Shoe in Mabou and think every afternoon and evening at the Glenora Distillery
