Big White at Christmas

We are a family of 9 heading to Big White for a White Christmas. Has anyone spend Christmas at Big White in the last few years and can you please let us know if there are any Christmas activities at the village during 23rd to 27th Dec? Also, is there plenty to do if your not into skiing?

Any advise about the area would be wonderful please.

There are a lot of activities to do up at Big White, here is a link to checkout what you can do. There are more websites out there a easy google search will show you more.

As the hill,is now closed for the season, the site may change or be updated before you arrival in December.

Have a great trip.

Big White is just lovely at Christmas. There are always many activities for kids, if you have that age group with you. If you don't ski, you can go skating or slide down the hills or go tubing. Maybe sit in a hot tub for a long relaxing soak. It might be hard to fill 5 days without skiing, but okay if you are happy lazing about.

How about a dog sledding tour? Not a common activity at a ski hill but Big White has perfect nearby terrain for it.

We have spent Christmas and New Years up there for years and it is always a great time. As others have mentioned, there are lots of activities other than skiing. Dog sledding, horse drawn carriage, snowshoeing, hiking/walking through the peaceful trails, ice wall climbing, snowmobiling, tubing, eating, drinking, hot tubbing with a glass of wine, music, yoga, massages, and more!
