What are my Trip Advisor points good for?
In the words of Frankie Goes to Hollywood "Absolutely nothing! Uh!"
Somebody attended a meeting on Monday morning after doing too much substance on the weekend and said:
"I get reward when i shop; we should do that"
but what are we going to offer?
"no idea so let do it and figure out something later"
they are still trying to figure it out......
Kind of what I thought....pointless!
If you take them into one of the top three rated restaurants in any city and ask to trade them in for a free dinner, they will be pleased to respond.

The points are pointless.
They are meaningless, have absolutely no value, are worth less than the gold star you got in grade school. They are as useful as a chocolate teapot, an ashtray on a motorcycle, or a cat flap on a submarine.
They are only intended as an incentive to contribute more content to the site and to provide self gratification and positive affirmation...for those who need it.
They can NOT be used for, traded for, or exchanged for, anything - anywhere. They DO NOT earn you points toward airline miles or any other travel partnerships associated with TripAdvisor.
