The waterfalls in Santiago may be an interesting side trip for you. They charge a small fee to enter, but it’s a fun little hike to a water hole where you can go swimming. The hike has a little steep part at one spot but overall it is fairly easy.

Also, if you like Sushi, then you MUST drive out to Zai Sushi in La Fortuna, past Shipwrecks. Make reservations to ensure you have a spot. While there, walk down the arroyo and walk the beach for a while to see a different side of Los Cabos where people live totally “off grid” - it ranges from pure luxury to rustic. You will see wandering cattle as well as donkeys.

Here’s an example of “off grid” living for the rich and famous. Grey Cape is near Shipwrecks. If you are going in December through January, the whales in the waters at Shipwrecks and La Fortuna are plentiful and dry close to shore.
