Is there still nudist beaches in Tulum if so where and also how to get there from playa de Carmen
I can only comment from reading previous comments but only if you go somewhere very isolated and that means no facilities.
Also beware other tourists unless they are naked as some nationalities have problems seeing a naked person.
There are "specialist " resorts where you may strip off
Tulum used to be a lot more nude-friendly, mostly because there were so few people around. Now it's full of people, so anything beyond toplessness (for women) is not common at all. You can still find a private bit of beach down in the Sian Kaan. I think there's still a big resort up the coast that's nudist, can't remember the name but you'd have to buy a day pass I'm sure. Anyone remember the name? I'm sure Google will know. There was a small condo development in Tulum, perhaps still is, and they had a beach club, but a long ride from town down into the biosphere. I'll try to think of names, but again, Google will likely know.
But the beaches that used to be regular nude/CO beaches in Tulum (such as the one north of Azulik) are no more.

Here's an article from last year. Mentions a few nudist resorts in the Caribbean. And a reminder, even if it clothing optional in Mexico at the resort, that does not carry over to the beach. On the resort itself only. There is no "official" law in Mexico against nudity (beach is government owned) but there is a law against "immorality". So, if someone complained or had an issue, you're at the judges mercy. Not sure of the other countries restrictions. There is one "official" nude beach in Mexico, actually legai, but it is on the Pacific side, Zipolite. https:/… . Wikipedia has a list of nudist friendly places in North America and the Caribbean, but again, not necessarily "legal", jus that it happens. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_social…Edited: 11 May 2018, 02:39
