Swimming with whale sharks has got to be up there and the season starts in June .
Of course this is what hubby said we should do! LOL! Any suggestions on a reputable company?
On isla tours
Def visiting with the whale sharks. Incredible. Saw giant mantas also. Fantastic day - beautiful boat ride - $$$$ well spent.
I forgot to say that the jungle boat tour is one of our favorites. It is approximately 2 hours long and you get to drive a two-person outboard motor boat through the mangrove in the lagoon. You get to stop and snorkel for approximately 30 minutes before returning.
The cost is very fairly priced and my opinion. If I'm not mistaken it's $65 per person and one of the marinas is it kilometer 17 on the boulevard.
Swimming with the whale sharks has to be my #1 too. Went with Capitan Tony out of Isla Mujeres.
#2 would have to be getting my PADI OW scuba diving certification in Playa and later the same week diving in Dos Ojos cenote.
#3 would be climbing el Castillo at Chichen Itza, years ago when you could still climb it. Climbed the main pyramid at Coba too, you can still do that- and it's even taller than CI.Edited: 16 May 2018, 07:23
Thank you! These are all great!!!
FWIW - I found aquaworld to be a cattle hearding adventure. Did an excursion with them once and dove once - last of both with them.
Plenty of options - have a great time. Research and communicate.
