JR, couple questions... please

Hi, just wondering a couple things. I noted before someone had mentioned problems with their "walkie talkies". I was planning on taking some down to our resort so we can keep in contact with our kids. Is there a problem with frequency?

Secondly, speaking of kids, mine luv ketchup! Is it the same as canada/us or more like the bbq sauce we had in cuba/dr?

thanks, appreciate your knowledge (and your website, great info)

No idea if it's frequency problem, I see people and kids using them here.

You can get Heinz Ketchup, a lot of restaurants use it.

What kind of radio/walkie talkies are you taking?? That's a great idea !!! We are taking our 11 year old Granddaughter with us in January and had thought to do the same thing, in case she goes to the kids club and wants to decides she wants to be with us. I was thinking of those small ones, think they cost around $50.00. Also good question about the ketchup, we have had that problem as well so we always take ketchup and vinegar with us to be safe. Where and when are you going?

We never had a problem using our "walkie talkies". We stayed at several differant places and they always worked with good reception.

thank you JR!

Ladybug, i agree. We first seen this on a trip to Canada's Wonderland and thought what a great idea! Even if hubby goes one way with one child, and I the other, we can always stay in touch. I have purchased the type you are talking about, think it was Walmart likely somewhere between the 50 - 100.00. I think i may take some extra ketchup along, just in case.

We are heading to the marival, jan 3 for a week. first trip with our daughters to an all inclusive, all of us are counting the sleeps!

cheers!

Ours worked fine! We stayed in some pretty big resorts (just got back) & they were so handy in case someone was going to the room & you needed something. Have fun!
