JR Brenda and locals -Elvis question

My son is going to a wedding at the new Dreams in NV next month. It is a fraternity brother and good friend from college. The bride and groom are big Elvis fans.

He wanted me to ask if there are any Elvis impersonators or DJ's that play a lot of Elvis in the PV area? Any ideas???

Yes, the guy on Los Muertos beach with the hair 'do', terrible guitar player and a worse singer. LOL

I would ask this question on the vallartascene board.

I would have your son burn some Elvis CD's and give them to the DJ. Most use CD's for the music.

I have never seen an Elvis impersonator here, I don't think anyone in their right mind would want to put on a polyester jumpsuit in this weather ;)

He has been known as Elvis for many years. I am with Ted, as we used to giggle as we covered our ears and thought of offering pesos to him...just GO away! Not that he sang Elvis hits or even faintly resembled him voice-wise...it was the swooped back hair, dyed black. Then one year I saw he tried a blond job in his casa no doubt. Wow! Then had some reddish tones and then to medium brown. Actually I was glancing on la playa yesterday wondering if he was still around. Did not run into him, thank goddess for small favors...

Oilvis is who I first thought of when I saw this post, and I only find him remotely amusing is when is playing at another table who is just discovering how terrible he is.

How he wears all the crap in his hair in that weather does amaze me though LOL
