Language Barrier?

We are going for our first visit, and many people say if you don't speak the language, you will have problems. We are looking at 1 week in an all-inclusive, and 1 week in a hotel or AirBNB. We appreciate your thoughts and tips for making our vacation a success please.

Buy ones of those small English to espanol translation books. I got one at the somewhat modern mall in La Crucecita in a book store about 12 years ago now. It is called the Rough Guide English to Mexican Spanish Phrase Book. It remains as the best book I have, and I have a few, and goes with us on every trip, and goes in my back pocket pretty much full time when we are there.

Red you are hilarious! Cheech and Chong. "My eyes are burnin'"

I agree with Ronaka about a phrase book. I bought a small one years ago when traveling through Spain and still use it. I'm a little stingy and don't like to bring my phone everywhere ( roaming fees , google translate) so this book is great for me and the person I'm speaking with as it has English to Spanish and the reverse.
