Paradise Island in August

I'm thinking about going to Paradise Island(Atlantis) from Aug 14-21 or 22 and just wondered is it packed or not bad since it's close to schools starting back up? Thanks.

Generally not bad since most schools state side are heading to are in school. Depends on the cruise ship crowds, but August sees a decline in passengers visiting here. Could also depend if Atlantis is running specials, or has groups or conventions scheduled. Keep in mind your dates are heading towards the peak of hurricane season. But that is out of any ones control. Atlantis always has a crowd on weekends, but with so much space and things to do, I wouldn't worry. It will be hot, humid, heat index up around 110, UV index +10, and always a chance of daily thunderstorms. That's why someone invented, pools, AC, and adult beverages. (also sunscreen).

Just to clarify...there is always a chance of thunderstorm, however we could go days without any, or see them daily. It can pour down two miles away, and you don't see a drop. If there is any hurricane activity in the area, you'll have plenty of advance warning.
