Ideas for planning casual chef, yoga, massage, rentals!

Hello,

We are staying in a lovely vacation home for July 21-28 , 2018 in Turtle's Cove area. We have 20 family members celebrating my mom's birthday!

I would love any advice on casual in home chef services, yoga, massage, kayak and PB rentals & bike rentals.

We would love to have these services at the home.

Also looking for unique experiences to celebrate Mom. We are not "fancy & formal" , love more local experiences, any ideas are welcomed! No-one from our group has visited T &C so we need some expert help!

Would like to have dinner in a restaurant a few nights.

Is it important to have a rental car?

Thank you so much!

Since your party is 20 and your staying near Turtle Cove Marina and most of the restaurants are around the Regent Villages area, taxis will cost you a fortune. Better get the names of drivers who can handle large crowds. We always rent a car, but its just the two of us. The TA community will provide you some names.

Here's the link to a good resource for TCI.

Yes rental cars mandatory, taxi will be a fortune for 20, more than 2 vans

Personal chef, none are casual, again small fortune and averages more than eating out—but happy to recommend if you want one

Yoga Gansevoort is excellent

Bike rentals Paradise Scooters

PB and kayaks Big Blue. You might to go towards Leeward, or rent by the hours

Have fun!

For a private chef service check out MaCac Creations Palate Pleasers. We used them to do my parents 50 th wedding anniversary dinner in our private villa and we had a delicious meal. They offer many levels of services and meals.

It’s owned and operated by Chef Mark Clayton and his wife...Mark is the chef at Da Conch Shack. I would highly recommend them !

Definitely rent a couple vans, it will be cheaper in the long run. If you were staying on Grace Bay I prob wouldn't say it was a necessity.. but I think you are going to want to visit around the island and that's too many people to pay for taxis for.

We have rented a villa and have 2 paddle boards being delivered to us for use during our stay through Rent a Ski. Brandon there has been AWESOME! I also talked to someone at Caicos Cafe and they were great too but a little more expensive and Rent a Ski is closer to where we are staying.

Have Fun!!

Massage - connect with Meryl - relax@spatropique.com. Her service will come to you or she has affiliations with some of the resorts. Very attentive and accommodated us next day. Enjoy!

We hired a chef and thought the food was great. It was a gentleman and his wife. He’s the owner of ricks flamingo cafe. He cooked for a party of 9 and I think it ran us around 600-ish. You cAn look up his info on Facebook or trip adviser and email him.

On the positive side...

there are three great restaurants located right at Turtle Cove

All are casual and waterfront

Baci

Mango Reef

Sharkbite

With such a large group naturally need reservations.
