Green Roof Inn or Bogles Round House

We are planning on spending 3 nights on Carriacou in January between visits to SVG and Grenada. We are deciding between the Green Roof Inn and Bogle's Round House and would appreciate the insight of others who have stayed at either or both locations.

Bogles consists of three cottages. Mango has the best view, Plum is slightly obstructed by Mango, and Lime is a two story cottage that is further back and probably has little view. These little cottages are very rustic -- pretty much a bed, bathroom, and a seating area. There is no TV and very little lighting. There is no glass in the windows but it is breezy enough that the temp is fine with just the ceiling fan. It's certainly adequate but some may find it too basic. There is access to a very nice little beach. The owner's two Great Dane crosses (rather large dogs) may enter any cottage if the door is left open. If you don't like big dogs, that could be quite a negative factor. On the other hand, if you like dogs it can be a plus as they are friendly. Breakfast is included and consists of cereal, fresh bread, fruit, and juice. Dinner there is lovely .

I would recommend staying here but some people may not prefer the simplistic lodgings.
