Water in Mammee Bay (going in November)

Just wondering about the water quality in Mammee Bay, Ocho Rios near Dunns Rver Falls. Is the beach and water usually clear of weeds. We usually go to the D.R. and the water there is pristine. My grandkids hate weeds and other things floating in the water. Thanks for your help:)) Also water temperature....warm or cold end of November.

Guarantee clear call aqua sea in Negril. If taking grandchildren look at Beaches Negril, Crystal Water Villas or Idle Awhile villas. Tons of amazing boutique properties as well.

You won't find weeds in that area. However, the water can be a bit rough - not crashing waves, but choppy sometimes. You'll find flatter water (also clear and weed free) in Negril.

We stayed on Mammee Bay in April last year. The water was clear and there was nothing floating in it. The beach at Mammee Bay was much nicer than the beach in Montego Bay. The water was plenty warm in April.

In August, the Sea temp around Jamaica is in the high 80sF and during the winter (say, January), the Sea temp will fall to around 82/83F.
