Where to stay as a small group

I've been doing quite a bit of research, but would appreciate suggestions on where to stay as a small group. We are looking at travelling in April and would need a private home of, at least, four bedrooms or some sort of apartment/condo situation that would offer one and two bedroom units with kitchen facilities. It would be ideal to be beachfront and a pool would be great as we have a couple of very small children in the mix. We'd also prefer to be within walking distance of restaurants and bars, so that we wouldn't always be stuck driving everywhere as a group. Money wise, we'd prefer to keep the whole cost on the south side of $5000US per week for a private villa and not much more than $1500US per week for a two bedroom type unit. Thanks in advance for any advice.

First, I suggest contacting Ann. She is a destination expert here on TA for Bonaire and her contact info is in the top right corner of the Bonaire Forum home screen as "caribchakita." She lives in Bonaire and her business is vacations in Bonaire. She could certainly get you started.

Another option is to check www.infobonaire.com. Look in the accommodations section. You will find several listings there for realtors on island who have villas for rent.
