St. George in November

Hi-we are considering renting an apartment in St Geroge for 2 weeks in the end of Oct/beginning of Nov. Does anyone know if most shops and restaurants are still open, or will many places have closed for the season? As far as I can tell, the ferry orange line will be suspended in early Nov. Is this true? Would it still be beach weather for the most part in late Oct/early Nov?

1. Re: St. George in November

Since cruise ships stopped making regular port calls at Saint George's, there are fewer shops...but what shops and restaurants there are will remain open.

The ORANGE--Hamilton-Dockyard-Saint George's ferry will complete its 'seasonal' schedule at last-run-of-the-day, Friday, November 4th. #1, #3, #10 & #11--Saint George's-Hamilton public bus routes will continue as usual.

You can check the monthly/seasonal CLIMATE data for yourself at--

But with any luck, you should sill have 'beach weather' through late-October with daytime Air Temps probably running in the low-to-high-70ºs range and Ocean Water Temps still running in the mid-70ºs.
