First Timer Wants a Do Over

So we had such a great time on our first time to Aruba, we want to do it all over again!!

Thanks to all of you who passed along your experiences, tips, and recommendations. Your help during my planning stages made our time on the island much easier to navigate.

We stayed 4/28 thru 5/4, the week was perfect !

Our flights both way's were great, United did a phenomenal job! (Believe it or not) We stayed in a gorgeous 2 bedroom condo with ocean view at Oceania. The place was great, and we hit a home run finding this jewel of a condo. We did most breakfasts and lunches at the condo (lunches to go) Dinners we ate out.

Eagle Beach was gorgeous, we found it to be clean both on the sand, and in the water. The weather and water temperature was excellent all week. We did all of our swimming either at Eagle beach or the condo pools.

I only wish we had more time to explore the entire Island, but we did reach our goal... got some R&R

We hit up some great restaurants, and didn't have one bad meal. I'm missing one or two from list

Tulip 2 times

Barefoot for our sunset anniversary dinner (our favorite)

Iguana Joe's (Lunch)

Dutch Pancake House (killer savory pancakes)

Bugaloe for cocktails and music

We adventured out on a UTV, which was a blast! Went to Arashi Beach, Lighthouse, Chapel, Philips Animal Preserve, Goldmine Ruins, Natural Bridge, Ayo Rock Formations, and finished the day just cruising around the Eagle - Palm beach area.

We spent a little time in the casinos, and some shopping.

Without a doubt we'll return, hopefully sooner than later. My favorite place to be was Eagle Beach!

For those who read this far down, my question is.

We would like to return before the end of this year. When would be the most affordable time to go?

Thanks for posting! Another Aruba lover is born, lol. Sounds like a great trip. Don't wait 5 years to return like my wife and I did years ago...now we won't wait 5 months if we can help it.

The most affordable time in Aruba runs from approximately mid-May to December 1 - give or take a little. Throughout that time period there are some music festivals and some aquatic events during which prices may be inflated a bit.

Barefoot, toes in the sand, is a favorite. Sounds like a gun trip.

Just go before December, then High Season, begins

Thanks for posting. Others have mentioned the most affordable times. We love Eagle Beach as well and enjoy renting a UTV. We have actually never had a bad meal either!

September and early October are my favorite times. Island is pretty quiet and the ocean it at a great temperature.

We are going next month and staying in the same area. Did you rent a vehicle? Was it hard to get around?

Who did you rent the ATV from?

Sounds like a great first trip! Love that you're already planning a return! Previous posters are correct in that prices go up mid December. Fall is a nice time to visit, we go each year in September and while the winds may die down a bit and it's pretty hot out, we like the quiet and low crowds of the off season.
