Wildflowers/waterfalls/

Headed to Shenandoah this Friday for a five day stay in Luray. Curious how the waterfalls/wild flowers look? And what options do we have in the rain? Are some of the hikes still doable in rain?

Currently under a sever thunderstorm in SNP and central Virginias..No idea if the rain will be soaked into the ground or head down to the falls.

Link below of what I found yesterday 13th May whilst hiking in SNP. It was very warm & humid and that takes a toll on the flora.

I'm guessing the area has gotten a lot of rain, and will continue to get a lot of rain going into the weekend. So the waterfalls should be amazing. But the trails might be treacherous. I like to climb on rocks to get a better view - no way I'd do that if it was wet.

Please don't climb / scramble on rocks that are slippery as there have been a number of incidents over the years.

Days of rain here in Virginia.
