Pls share whatever you get to know how Ranthambore will be affected by this and specifically which safari routes will be discontinued

Out of the 4 zones available on the website www.rajasthanwildlife.in, it seems the entire Ranthambore NP zone will be banned for safaris. The other three Kundal, Chidkho, Balas should stay open.

There are no wild elephants in Ranthambore. Until SC completes its ruling I would definitely not book any tours to Ranthambore.

If I were you I would also remove your personal details from this thread, by reporting your post, Remove my post, and repost with no personal details

If you want elephants and tigers head for Corbett

Anxiously awaiting till Oct 3rd. We were booked to be there oct 20-22 so really hoping this gets lifted. Banning could be disastrous for the local economy as well as and more importantly for the tigers.. making them easy prey for poachers.
