Do I need to make reservations to visit the grotto or crypt of Monte Sant'Angelo. I see the hours that they are open on their website and entrance fee, but another website I saw said you need to make reservations.
Also, is there a website for the castle di monte sant'angelo? I was trying to find out the hours they are open and if there is an entrance fee. Thanks.
We entered the santuary of Monte Sant'Angelo without reservations this past year. Unless there is some guided tours I don't see the necessity of reservations.
We also visited the castle. I don't recall what the hours were. I think we arrived mid-morning and it was open. There was an entrance fee, but don'y recall how much. Some great views from the castle walls. Some interesting rooms. Biggest benefit was the bathroom, which was needed at the time after a couple of hour drive from Peschici. I would have paid just to use the facilities.
