Is Camberwell a good area to stay during the Olympics

According to that Wikipedia thing, Camberwell has bus routes into central london, but no rail links. While I'm sure you could make it work, I wouldn't call it a "good area" to stay during the Olympics.

it depends where in Camberwell, and where you want to be travelling to for the Olympic events. Some parts of Camberwell are close to Oval tube station (on the Northern line of the tube). Other parts are close to Denmark Hill, Loughborough Junction and Peckham Rye railway stations, for trains to Blackfriars and Victoria in central London, or sometimes to Blackheath in the other direction (which is walkable to Greenwich park).
