Storing luggage in Moscow

Hi,

So we're in Russia between 23rd June and 3rd July, being in Moscow for around 4-5 days of that. Is it a good idea to book an airbnb for ~10 days in Moscow so we can dump some of our bags? We're going to travel pretty light, but since almost every leg of our journey touches Moscow we thought it would be a good idea to have a base in Moscow.

Are there other options to have a place to dump some luggage in Moscow that's safe? What are y'all planning on doing?

Thanks,

Ananth

Compare prices... Train stations will store your bags at about R500/bag/day...

Do you know if there are ways to book those in advance? I imagine the demand will be incredibly high cause of the world cup

@Ananth Raghavan S,

Luggage storage facilities in Moscow airports and train stations do not have booking in advance option.

Moscow stations have large storage chambers. If the automatic storage cells are occupied, then you can use the storage room, which are managed by employees.

About security. In the old Russian comedy, the underground millionaire kept a suitcase with millions of rubles in the storage room at the railway station for several years.
