Train travel from Germany to Belgium w/luggage & a toddler!

We are going to Wiesbaden in 3 weeks for a wedding then on to the UK to visit family. I'd like to go by train via Brussels so that we can spend a few days seeing Brussels, Bruges etc but am concerned about traveling by train with 3 suitcases, a car seat, a stroller (buggy) and an almost 2 year old! Do they offer porter service at the big stations (Frankfurt and Brussels, for example) or at least carts to rent, like they have at the airport, to push the luggage to/from the trains? Any advice would be appreciated!

No porter service, but some of the larger stations might have coin-operated trolleys, but don't count on it as they can cause a hazard on platforms.

The only answer really is to pack lighter :)

For a start, we use these with our three children http://www.boostapak.com/home.html - makes things a lot easier.

I have traveled extensively around Germany by train and have gone from Frankfurt to Brussels. You will not find porters or luggage carts. It will be extremely difficult for you to travel with that amount of luggage and a toddler.

Reduce the number of suitcases, maybe go with backpacks and just carry the stroller and car seat.
