Anyone booked with Aunt Betty or BYOjet?

Hi

Just wanting to know if anyone has booked with either Aunt Betty or BYOjet booking sites?

Looking at flights to Bali in April and these 2 sites come up cheapest by a bit. Aunt Betty $1371 vs the airline direct $1500.

Anyway just wanted to know if they are reputable and trouble free. Not looking at changing dates or cancelling so not worried about those kind of fees.

Thanks!!

No not trouble free. Warning on OzBargain: "...they take ur money then a message comes up saying fares have gone up and you no longer have a booking (even though I have a reservation number. I check my bank account and yep almost $5000 is missing - gone to Aunt Betty."

Please book directly with the airline. These shonky guys do not have live pricing, and the fares that they advertise do not exist.

Sounds like a scam to me. Avoid.

Yeah I'm thinking I'd rather pay the extra for the peace of mind.

Have read some reviews of both and the positive ones are far and few between!

Both Aunt Betty and BYOjet are Flight Centre brands. Wonder why they appear to be uninterruptible.

Different brands allows a company to better target a group of people.

You can stretch a brand only to a certain degree. Beyond the brand might not be credible. Hence different brands.

Further in the OTA business if one brand gets damaged, the company will go on if they have different brands.

Well after all that baking and cooking, she seems to need to fly somewhere as well to relax. Or maybe she is going global with her steamed pudding.

Maybe that's the in-flight catering.
