American Airlines Inflight Entertainment Boeing 767-300

I am currently pricing flights from Dublin, Ireland to MCO around Halloween time. It will be coming into school holidays here so direct flights with Aer Lingus are expensive so I would like a connecting flight in the U.S. rather than the UK so that we can take advantage of US immigration pre clearance in Dublin.

The best price / connection times departing on 27th October 2017 is with British Airways on flights operated by American Airlines connecting in Chicago. AA209 from DUB to ORD is scheduled to be a Boeing 767-300. The American Airlines website mainly covers Business class but we will be travelling economy and there is no mention of individual seat back screens in Economy. Does anyone know if these are now available of it it will be overhead screens?

Thanks for your help.

This information should be found on seatguru.com if you can't find it on the airline's webpage.

As far as I'm aware the AA 767 still have the older overhead screens - I believe these aircraft will be retired at some future date and there are no plans to install seat back tv.

However for such a short flight I wouldn't let in flight entertainment influence my decision.

==============

For 20th October DUB-ORD is indeed schduled to be on the 787-8, so there will be in-seat TV with full AVOD.

But remember airlines can and do change equipment for routes so that's no guarantee this route will always be on a Dreamliner. It could revert back to 767, as could other routes.
