About
We named our restaurant Bistro Nolah, an acronym for New Orleans, out of a love for the style of comfort food they serve down south. This style of food will be the inspiration behind some of the dishes we will be serving at Nolah.

My wife and I have been to this bistro a few times over a few years. This small space ( maybe seats 40 ) is probably one of the best restaurants in the West Island .There is a print menu with items they offer all...More

After work for dinner, no reservations, but they were able to accommodate us at the bar. Great dishes and entrees. Try the Grits, really good and authentic. Good selection of Scotches especially when you cannot drink wine.

Tried this based on reviews and the desire for some New Orleans cuisine. It didn't disappoint, but the meal may take a toll on your wallet. They have some really nice sauces for different dishes and the beignets are a nice treat. The crab cakes...More

The food was excellent -- our only complaint was that the mussels, while perfectly cooked and in an amazing sauce, were very small -- but finding good seafood in Montreal can be a bit of a challenge. Unfortunately the acoustics of the restaurant (it's an...More

Excellent anniversary dinner! I'm so glad we chose it. I had the blackened catfish while my wife had the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were excellent, very tasty with just the right amount of heat. Since I also had fried chicken as an appetizer, there...More

The bistro is very unique in its menu. Definitely Louisiana/New Orleans inspired. I would have given five stars but the service was very slow. If I was in a rush I would have been frustrated about how long everything took.
