Excellent food for 3 out of 4 guests. What spoiled a nice evening in an otherwise very good restaurant was the impolite response of the waitress when we raised the matter of the seriously spoilt Tartar. So, - avoid the Tartar and the waitress with short dark hair and you'll be having a great evening.

Originally we were at a function hosted by the Mayor of SG, upstairs, in this establishment owned by the town, apparently. The food was so good, especially the pumpkin soup, that we returned to the restaurant next evening. We were not disappointed. Do try the local Schwaebisch food, guided by the very helpful waiting staff. And don't forget the remarkably... More

In all honesty, this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been lucky enough to visit. We were seated in the courtyard which was cosy and atmospheric. They had an English menu which was chock full of the most beautiful sounding things. Every plate around our table was completely empty. Not a morsel left! The wine was beautiful,... More

Experienced a very nice dinner at this wonderful restaurant. Nestled in a historic location, the place offers an excellent cuisine in an exquisite ambience. Everything from the appetizers, to the entree, to the desert met my high expectations.

We received a very warm welcome here. Enjoyed the lovely old building and the wonderful dining room. A marvelous salad began our meal (my wife is still talking about it a day later) and then we had Wiener schnitzel (veal) cooked just perfectly. Our waitress helped us select just the perfect wine to accompany the entree. My dessert, the Kaiser-thing-ama-bob,... More

This restaurant offers higher end fare and is very good. The wait staff is superb and the chef is brilliant with his combinations. I always find a way to eat at Fuggerei during my visits to the area. I have eaten here about 6 or 7 times.

You can find a very good Swabian cuisine with some international elements at the Fuggerei. They serve a perfect Tafelspitz-consommé. Less convincing were the Swabian lentils. The staff is well skilled and obliging. The medieval building is next to the Münster square and you dine in a vault with modern decoration elements. In summer there is a charming terrace to... More

In an old building near to the Münster, Fuggerei reaches a very good level of cooking. The restaurants seats around 50-60 people in one single stylish vaulted room. The staff is attentive and the chef has a high performance ambition. Accompanied by a good selection of wines the menu is a mix of international and locally inspired dishes. We enjoyed... More
