We visited Anvers a couple of days ago as I have a true chocolate addiction!! I wasn't let down....we enjoyed a cinnamon hot chocolate in the Cafe that was attended to by lovely staff. Obviously we had to visit the shop and stock up on...Belgian choccies. Yummmmmmmo.More

We stopped here for hot chocolate and cake, and we had a lovely time. The cafe was very cute, and the cake and hot choc were delicious.

My children from Melbourne thought ANVERS was special. On arriving for lunch we were told by staff that the wait for a table would be about 15 / 20 minutes. We checked back after half an hour to be told not much longer to wait....After an hour I wanted to go home. A waitress pushed a menu at us outside, ushered us onto a table and then stood over us to order as the kitchen was closing in a few minutes. We all had a sandwich, an average expensive sandwich. Had the staff been thoughtful and honest in their initial assessment we could have gone elsewhere and had a lovely lunch! HOW AWFUL THAT WAS FOR MY CHILDREN AND MYSELF ON MY SPECIAL DAY. NEVER AGAINMore

Fantastic coffee, breakfasts and chocolate. Service with a smile. Definately worth stopping and having a bite to eat and a look around.

Group of 4 enjoyed relaxed conversation, great service and awesome food. My meal was the Warm Moroccan Lamb Salad, it was perfect - followed by yummy lemon cheesecake for dessert. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals, would definitely recommend Anvers.

Voucher bought on line from Queensland and I spent it on a lovely lunch and in the chocolate shop. Beautiful snow balls bought after watching them being made. Great place for breakfast, lunch or just a cuppa.

As a health worker (nurse) I had to undertake essential travel to Burnie yesterday. As expected most businesses were closed due to current quarantine restrictions. Thankfully this place was open. I know it well - as the place that serves the best chilli hot chocolate,...when you can dine in and drink it from an earthenware mug. Not an option today so I bought a long black, and some coconut snowballs to take home. The young lady serving me was efficient, bright and friendly - and made my morning by sending me off with a complementary piece of fudge and truffle. Small range of delicious looking sandwiches & filled baguettes also available. Easy parking and a delightful building and surrounding garden.More

Stopped here on the way back from Melb after travelling to Tas on the ferry. Looked like an ideal location Food was average with scrambled eggs and bacon purchased on a pipe loaf type of bread. The bread was soggy and not toasted and the...bacon appeared to be half cooked. Not a good experienceMore
