We popped in whilst waiting for a flight to come in at the airport. We had 5 hours to kill! The lady at the bar was friendly and polite when taking my order whilst Mum found a table. The cup of tea was brought over to us along with menus. If you sit in the bar area you need to... More

I have visited The Romper on three occasions, every time, I have loved the food that I was served. The staff are always attentive and very friendly even on peak hours. on one occasions my group was warned by one of the staff members that there would be a large party of people coming soon so the noise level would... One of the best Sunday lunches I have had while eating out, in a long time. Great value for money and very tasty food, even my 4-year old loved his roast beef dinner. We were well looked after despite the restaurant being busy. Definitely worth a visit but make sure you book a table!

I visited the Romper on Sunday (late afternoon) with my friend for the first time. It has a warmly feel, and the staff are very efficient, and friendly. My friend had the fish & chips, and I opted for the 3 trio Sunday lunch, which were both delicious, and really generous portions. We will defianately be visiting again very soon

I found this pub/restaurant on Tripadvisor when looking for somewhere to eat near to the Premier Inn by the airport. We were not disappointed. The hotel receptionist recommended it as well. There were four of us two couples. We three had the lamb dish in a pot with veggies and mashed potato. The other had a very enjoyable rump steak.'... More

Second visit to the romper and have to say it was really good food, tried the seared scallops with black pudding mash for starter and it was a real treat, nice and quiet early doors but was filling up when leaving around half 1, would definitely recommend to all.

After researching and learning that many small pubs in the UK are 'franchised' by Pub & Brewer, we were a bit skeptical about visiting Romper, but our waitress at an airport hotel highly recommended we give it a go. Glad we went! Romper had attentive service, charming atmosphere, and most importantly delicious food with flavor (as a garlic/spice addict, has... More
