So delicious! A great Vegan selection, if you have rice it is gluten free too. The wonderful, warm, friendly service and atmosthere make you feel at home, they truly go out of the way to be hospitable. Absolutely perfect, thank you Echye's.

Very unusual restaurant with a good sweet atmosphere. The Grandmother cooking in the kitchen and Grandaughter serving us, so family owned restaurant. The food is from Eritrean(North Ethiopia) and different. The service was good, for the money we paid ($130 for 4 people and $22 pp there after) it was good value. It's also BYO. Please give it a try.

Warm friendly little spot full of charm, beautiful food. We had traditionally brewed coffee, share plates of excellent food and nothing was too much trouble

We have eaten Ethiopian food all around the world (including Ethiopia). None compare to this place. If you want to try something different, great value and tasty then this is your best option.

Searched out this place only a few blocks from where we had drinks so thought why not. Atmosphere isn't a selling point but wait staff were beautiful. Ordered 2 dishes a beef curry and a mushroom dish automatically comes with the fermented bread. The mushrooms were out of this word the bread was wonderful and the beef so tender like... More

We are addicts of Ethiopian food and an Injera feast our family tradition for birthday dinners. The food and service here was the best we've had. Echye herself is so warm, interesting and her story inspirational. Perth has sadly seen so many Ethiopian restaurants come and go; give it a try, Echye's deserves our support😊

It was an interesting experience walking in to Echye's. Not one of us had tried Ethiopian before and there was a lot of speculation on spices/vegetarian options. As such, our best option was to ask for the 'banquet' for four people (you can add extra people, so the number of diners does not matter). We had a group of 9... More

I love Eritaeian food and was lucky to find this restaurant. Had good selection on the menu. Everything we ordered was excellent. A good family run restaurant - service was good. The family had spent some time in Kenya - happy to speak to them in Swahili. Will go back again

Excellent food and nice atmosphere. Had dinner here for my hubby's birthday. The entrée' was really very tasty - mildly spiced mungbean lentils & herbs and ground chickpeas in a spicy sauce, chillies, feta etc., & the soft spongy sweet bread it came with was absolutely yum!! For the main we shared a veggie platter with slightly sour soft Ingera... More
