A very nice cafe & restaurant hidden at the back of the book shop. Very reasonable prices, a good selection of food & very tasty. My only criticism is that the salad could do with a dressing as it's a little dry without.

Excellent book shop with good food too. Always good service. Suggest trying the milkshakes, they are wonderful.
Ideal venue for a lunch, salad, snack or cream cakes. Lovely shop too to find a good book or unusual gift for adults and children alike

I went for lunch with my friend and it was very nice. The food was tasty and the service was good. I nice atmosphere and a unique little cafe in a wonderful bookshop.
Traditional coffee shop and restaurant. Cosy furnishings and friendly service. Good menu range from snacks to home cooked hot meals.
Met my friend Barbara for a coffee and cake. Had toasted tea cakes, which had plenty of butter - makes a nice change. Coffee was lovely as well. Ambience was charming tucked back behind the bookshop. An excellent place to meet friends.
