Certainly not up to standard. Waited 1 hour for entree, of which one entree was the wrong dish, then another 45mins for main. Rib Eye was cold and undercooked Nearby table was serving food to a small dog AT THE TABLE, owned by a member...of staff, disgusting. When mentioned to staff, he said “that’s my dog” Definitely will not returnMore

Possibly the worst French food in Melbourne. Atmosphere and overall first impressions are very good, until the waiters arrive and a very unfunny episode of Fawlty Towers begins. Service is poor, only three of our four starters arrived, because kitchen couldn't read the order. Waitress...said just share amongst yourself while we cook the other one! Wild rabbit casserole was inedible, meat was tough as shoe leather and sauce was tasteless, my companion ordered French onion soup the onions were tasteless while the rest was a glutinous mess of cheese. While we were pressured every few minutes to order wine they promptly forgot to bring it until the meal was half over, duck rillette was served with no bread or crackers, but a promise to bring some bread back, which never eventuated. Ridiculously expensive for sub standard fare. Spend your hard earned money elsewhereMore

Had great expectations, very disappointed, change your chef!! This was not pate and this was not coq - au- vin and the paint smell was horrible, $110.00 a head, never again, don’t go there until they can actually produce good french food!!!

Having visited this amazing restaurant before & had fabulous food - this visit was wildly disappointing. While I can generally appreciate waiter’s insouciance, the staff were arrogant & uninterested. Our waitress was well below standard this restaurant should expect with mixed up dishes, stacked plates...slopped & an embarrassing accident of smashed dishes. The food was also well below expectation - French staples of Beef cheek were tough, rabbit over cooked & dry and fish just mushy, side dishes over cooked & unappealing. This was once a restaurant I enthusiastically recommended- no more :(More

This is our favourite French restaurant in Melbourne. We think that the food has become even better in recent years. The menu is a good blend of both traditional and innovative dishes, but all delicious. The wine list is also excellent, with enough wines of...different types by the glass. Service is faultless.More

Very dull decor with unhelpful reception and a very limited menu. Wine prices totally over the top for what it was.

We booked for our 16 yr wedding anniversary tonight. Took 30 mins to get menus and water.Took another 30 mins to order meals which we contemplated walking out. One of the waiters wasn't wearing black mask correctly. Finally got entrees and then had to ask...and wait for bread to go with the terrine. The food was good but the service was deplorable. We will never recommend or go again. So sad. the waiters looked miserable and kept apologising. Very disappointing. Nothing was offered to try to fix the wait. IMore

The joy here is that standard bistro favourites are done very very well. Quiet. Heavily carpeted with drapes. Even the hard of hearing do fine here. The wine list is modest in price and rather good. Cannot wait for current house restrictions are lifted to...visit againMore

The front of this restaurant is very unassuming, but inside there is a lovely French ambience, with several distinct spaces, as opposed to one large room. We were in a small "living room" with three other tables, so a very French feel and a quiet...atmosphere for us to enjoy. Food was amazing and they catered well for me being Gluten Free. After excellent scallops and steak tartare as starters, we both had the beef cheek for our main course - generous serves and absolutely delicious. Service was impeccable and the wine list included some good French options. We will definitely be returning.More
