Seems to be very busy most of the time. Coffee was nice and it is just a nice place to relax. It does have outdoor furniture at the rear but it was raining most of the time. Could be a good place to go on a sunny day.

Stopped by The Mossy for a coffee & a tea. Both served with hardly any wait time. Coffee was a little bitter (this, of course, is subject to personal preferences), but was still smooth & prepared well by the barista. Was delighted that loose-leaf teas were on offer. Absolutely enjoyed the surroundings, where an abundance of birdlife perch on neighbouring... More

Had a very nice Sunday lunch with the family. We were a large group of 8 adults and 8 kids. It was a rainy Sunday but we found there was more than enough room inside for our group. The staff set us up in our own little room where our kids wouldn't bother any other diners and we were well... More

Gorgeous cafe with great coffee, friendly staff and lovely laid back coastal atmosphere. The wild eye fruit loaf was scrummy and the whole menu enticing.

We chose Mossy Cafe for lunch. We ordered the 'South Coast brekkie' it was a combination of simple, high quality ingredients, all very fresh and all done so well. Flavours were outstanding. The service was fast efficient and very friendly. You do have to order at the counter, take a table number but at your table there are many newspapers... More

Love the changes made to the decor of this little cafe on the south coast with a real quirky look , the work with recycled timber is amazing with each hidden room you discover, a little of the old original with the new industrial look, great look. Nice place for coffee and cake but the service is a little slow.

A nice old building in a peaceful, leafy suburb with some comfortable and shady seating. Order at the counter and the wait staff bring your meals. They seemed to get the timing right for all our food - 6 adults and 6 kids split into two separate orders. I've only had brunch here and, while competent, it lacks spark. There... More

This cafe was the go to place for breakfast or lunch simple food done well I am afraid this is no longer the case the food has become to complicated and therefore takes to long to make and deliver. What happened to the simple french toast , sausage roll or once best BLT on the coast? I have had two iced... More

Possibly the worst long black with milk I have ever had ever!!!! Even worst than Table 8 in Batemans Bay. The parking is spread everywhere and you find yourself parking in front of residents house's. Staff were very hard working and polite so it's either the beans or the training effecting the taste and quality of the coffee.

Welcome to The Mossy Cafe! We are the new place to go in the Batemans Bay area. After a major renovation, a new menu and a name change, we are ready to go. Our idea from day one has been to create, produce and serve super great, full-flavoured food in an environment that's warm and inviting. We are just a short drive from Batemans Bay. Mossy Point provides a beautiful location for our great new cafe, with picturesque surroundings and an amazing community. We pride ourselves in providing our customers with a unique experience, that will leave them wanting to return again and again. As for the food? Fabulously fresh, locally sourced, lovingly prepared. You'll find all your favourites, including the legendary muffins and the classic big breaky with local free ranged eggs. All our food is made with love and served in the most beautiful atmosphere by the beach.
