We go to this family owned cafe whenever we are in Granville. The scones are superb as is the service. The lunch menu although quite small is wonderful. Almost everything is locally sourced and freshly produced each time. The quiches are amazing do try them if you manage to secure a table! The cafe is stylishly decorated and the ambience... More

We tried this for breakfast after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. They do not open until 10am & then limited choice of either Scones & Jam or Chocolate Cake, we opted for the scones and they were warm and straight from the oven delicious! Enormous choice of Tea to pick from! All cakes are baked on the premises and daily... More

A great experience for a late afternoon snack. One can eat lunch there as well. I can only talk about the deserts. Great lemon tart and a fantastic rubharb crumble. High quality!

This place is a one of a kind in the immediate centre of Granville. The food is simple and savoury and they actually serve other seafood (fish) than just Moules Frites and shellfish. We both had the cod, which was excellent, and the lemon pie for dessert. Unfortunately they were out of pavlova but the waitress told the chef that... More

Wasn't sure whether to review this restaurant or not, it was busy when we were there and don't want too many others to know about it! However some places deserve to be reviewed, and this is one of them. We arrived for lunch, we hadn't booked but the owner said there were tables outside and as the weather was glorious... More

If you've not been here before then you are really missing one of the best daytime eateries in Granville. Family owned and run you will receive a wonderful welcome, excellent service and delicious food, excellent wines, perfect desserts, rather marvellous coffee or a hot chocolate to finish (I recommend the chocolate!). Then you can browse the loose tea, the extraordinary... More

Stopped in upon recommendations from French friends and found le Picorette to be delightful. Had a somewhat quickie meal of tea and desert and greatly enjoyed it. Saw that there were a number of recommended plats du jour and the locals were enjoying them. Nice stop. ...

My husband and I were taken to Granville by our French friends. We arrived at lunchtime on market day and, as the town was heaving, we had to park in the high town. On our way down the hill, our friends stopped a young woman in the street and asked if she could recommend a restaurant. She very kindly took... More

Arrived in Granville at lunchtime & after consulting trip advisor we found this little gem of a family run tea shop. The cafe was very busy so no tables free but the delightful young man (the son) advised us to return in 50 mins which thankfully we did. The menu is not extensive, three or four dishes, as fresh ingredients... More
