The food is of great quality and the service is excellent. There is a great choice of wine and drinks but the selection of dishes is a bit limited. It is quite pricey but totally worth it if you want a gourmet evening.

I reviewed this as part of hotel review. The meat & fries were awful & I did not eat. They insisted I pay anyway. Had to straighten out with hotel manager, who cancelled my bill.

We had expected something special but we were disappointed. The starter arrived while we were only halfway though our apéritif, the bread (admittedly, not all of it...) was too hard to eat, the asparagus that accompanied the salmon was nearly as hard as the aforementioned bread. We had to pour our own wine, which was just as well because the... More

Bland modern interior, but reasonably quiet with good separation of tables. Really delicious food - much enjoyed the coquilles St Jacques and sole fillets menu. Good Sancerre and Bordeaux by the glass.

In what is a really nice hotel, it's a shame that the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. We opted for the set three course menu, which had two choices for the main course, only to be told that our preferred option was off - this was only about 19:30, so not late at all. It had been decided... More

The restaurant is within the Sofitel Hotel which I have reviewed separately. After a long drive from the Austrian Alps, we were delighted that the hotel had a fairly informal bar and restaurant so we didn't need to venture out. The food and service were very good, nice bar for a pre dinner drink and friendly attentive staff.

Staying in the hotel we decided to eat here on a Sunday evening. Service was perfunctory to start and got worse when we were told that Veal Osso Buco was off and was being replaced by turkey. We opted for the trout and the waiter and waitress could not believe that we were so dismissive of the turkey swap. Prices... More

"Tradition revisited in line with the expectations of today", I read in the booklet at my hotel room. The 3-course meal started with a delightful salmon mousse (I´m Norwegian and know my salmon ;-)). Lobster bisque, veal and chocolate mousse - just as described in the booklet: "fresh and regional, contemporary and generous. All in a warm and stylish atmosphere".... More
