My partner and I took his mum to lunch for Mother’s Day and it was perfect. After reading a few reviews on here I was a little concerned it wasn’t the right choice but don’t believe the negative comments on here, they are clearly too...hard to please! We had the dusted shrimp, celeriac, fish of the day, trout tartare, scampi risotto and split pea salad and it was all faultless. The trout was my personal favourite, every mouthful was a burst of flavour. The thing that surprised me most of all was probably the serving sizes. I got the entree sized risotto and it was easily bigger than main size at other places. Good fine dining service and attentive without being overbearing. Great atmosphere and obviously world class views. Far exceeded my expectations and the perfect venue for a special occasion. I don’t review much but I had to jump on to combat the pickiness displayed by some other critics.More

came here with high expectations and they were unfortunately not met. Upon arrival we were seated and we ordered a couple of starters (both tartares, they were amazing and the mozzarella dish, also very delishious). they served bread for the table in a basket as...well, but didn't bring any side plates for it. when my friend used her oyster plate for her bread instead the waiter came and told her off for doing that. he never bothered with bringing bread plates. the other waitress then huffed at us when we asked her to clear the table of all the empty plates when she struggled to find room for the new set of cutlery. the mains were a disaster. my spatchcock was undercooked. I couldn't eat it. they removed it without any offer of replacing it. by that time I had enough and didn't ask for more food. the bill then included the spatchcock and only when we highlighted the fact that it wasn't save to eat it was removed. all in all a very underwhelming experience mainly because of the staff being super arrogant. great views though.More

We absolutely loved everything about Icebergs restaurant. The views are spectacular overlooking iconic Bondi Beach. ❤️ 🏄🏼 Hubby booked a early sitting which was an added bonus as we could watch the surfers until darkness. 🏄🏼 We were celebrating a birthday weekend and having dinner...here was certainly the highlight of the weekend. 🏄🏼 We found the food to be delicious and well presented and the service to be extremely efficient and friendly. Yes it’s pricey but it’s a wonderful restaurant which delivers in abundance for a special occasion. 🥂🥂More

Not sure about the reviews that complain about the prices... after all, this is one of Sydney's iconic dining spots, with a commanding view of Bondi beach (all tables have the view) as well as its two-hatted reputation. So premium prices are expected, and in...fact the price level is not much different to other "polished restaurants with a view" type (e.g. Otto at Woolloomooloo). This is also the place for people watching, which includes the well-heeled guests as well as the service team (jacketed waiters and designer-clad waitresses). Yet despite the high potential for snobbery, the service I experienced was actually very good and attentive. The waiter helped to choose the right dishes, so that I didn't order too much or too little. And of course, the food itself was excellent, starting with the freshest oysters, the deceivingly simple yet perfectly balanced pasta, and finishing with a decadent tiramisu. Would definitely recommend to try this restaurant at least once, and then maybe a repeat visit for special occasions.More

Hi SpiceNSpruce, thank you from the whole team for such great feedback. I will certainly pass this on. Are you already planning your next visit?

All that they have is the view. The food and wine are ridiculously overpriced and the food was not very good. Definately not fine dining, nor was the service any good. At over $300 for lunch for two i expected much much more. The toilets...were also very shabby. I cannot recommend this place and will never risk going again.More

This was so disappointing, what’s happened to this place?! The restaurant is in serious need of a soft refurb. Food was over priced for what you get. Service was ok, but not amazing. Was so disappointed, they seem to have really dropped the ball on...food quality, service and atmosphere. Won’t be going back sadly.More

We visited on a Thursday evening to celebrate our birthdays. As another recent reviewer stated, very disappointing. Extremely overpriced for what we received. Had previously heard many great things about this restaurant and was existed when my girlfriend had booked. Well, my meal 'the scallops'...was extremely disappointing. Over $50 for a pasta dish, and I only got ONE SCALLOP. The dish was tasteless. The lamb was 'fatty' and a risotto is a risotto. Will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone, the opposite actually. I have been to many restaurants over the past two weeks, whilst on holidays and those in country NSW could show the city a thing or two!!More

This was the fifth time I have been to the icebergs. The last 4 times were much better. Post COVID the prices are up and the serving sizes are down. Even the sides have shrunk noticeably. The signature steak was reduced by about 1/3 from...the last visit. Top prices but not top serving sizes. As usual fantastic atmosphere and cooking skill but disappointing overall in terms of value.More
